following layout is the standard one found in American
casinos. Next to the layout is the wheel with its
36 numbers plus 0 and 00.
Each number is in its individual pocket, separated
by metal from its neighboring numbers. A small white
plastic ball is rolled around the outside rim of
the wheel in the opposite direction from the wheel's
spin. When the ball loses velocity, it eventually
lands in one of the metal pockets, determining the
winning number.
Each letter, from A to I, shows the various kinds
of bets that may be made on the layout. The bets
are divided into two groups-straight bets and combination
bets.
